Orientation Values for the Assessment of the Recyclability of Printed Products
are a first step toward a better recyclability of graphic printed products. They have been approved by a working group within the German Technical Committee Deinking. This consists of representatives of several German associations of printers, paper mills, publishers, ink and adhesive manufacturers, the International Organisation promoting the Self Adhesive Labelling Industry (FINAT) and INGEDE.
The orientation values are based on samples that have been tested for research projects. They include deinkability and adhesive applications.
